Many thanks to Lindsay from Calgary Canada for submitting this excellent gourmet chocolate syrup recipe to us for publishing. First take out a heavy cast iron pot. Place into the pot the Stirling Gourmet German Chocolate Syrup, crushed bittersweet dark chocolate bar, vanilla sugar, kosher salt, dark rum, ground nutmeg, bottled water, and ground cinnamon. Whisk all of these ingredients together, then place your pot on the stove over a medium flame. Bring the syrup to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Stir the chocolate while it melts, then remove it from the stove once it reaches a desired consistency. Once done, remove the syrup from the stove, and let it cool. The syrup will keep for roughly one to two weeks if stored in a tightly sealed plastic Tupperware container.
