Many thanks to Lucy from Missoula Idaho for submitting this fair trade chocolate syrup recipe. To get the recipe going, please take out a cooking pot. Next add into the pot the chocolate chips, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, white cane sugar, spring water, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and kosher salt. Whip the contents together until you have an even mixture, then place your pot on the stove over medium high heat. Bring the syrup to a boil, then back the heat off down to low. While your chocolate syrup is heating, stir it frequently to prevent it from burning. Once the syrup reaches a desired consistency and thickness, remove it from the stove to cool. This syrup will keep for up to two full weeks, just be sure to store it in a tightly sealed plastic refrigerated container. That's it for this sweet and yummy recipe, please do check out our many other unique creations.
